We will gather on Sunday, March 13, 2016 to celebrate the awakening of the Bear. We will start to gather at 12 Noon.
The Ceremony begins at 1:00 PM.
If you get there after the Ceremony starts, please have a seat behind the circle and observe. At the start of the Ceremony, we will create a circle and will not break the circle until the Ceremony is over. (with exception of those who take part in the Pipe Ceremony). If you are asked to participate in the Pipe Ceremony, once it is over, we ask that you return inside and rejoin the circle. Please, do not stay out to have a cigarette or get a cup of coffee. The Ceremony is not completed until the pipe is disassembled.
Please bring a rattle and/or hand drum.
**** Women, please wear a skirt to cover your legs.
There will be a potluck after the Bear Feast Ceremony is over. Please, bring a dish to share. Do not worry about having to stir your dish occasionally as we will have volunteers to do that for you during the Ceremony.
